The latter could be even worse, particularly if the typo affects their interpretation of the document. Consider ordering a few extra copies of the most critical documents
You should not just request the number of copies that you know for certain you need from the printing specialist. Instead, you should order one or two extra copies. It's particularly wise to do this if you'll be travelling with the printed materials after you receive them or if they will be stored in a busy building for a long period.
The reason for this is that the longer the printed materials are in your possession, the more likely it is that they'll get damaged before you can use them for their intended purpose (such as in a court case or a job interview). If a water bottle in your bag that also contains these documents leaks or if you accidentally leave this bag on the train and you don't have any spare copies of these materials, you could end up in quite a bind.
